Με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Μείωσης Φυσικών Καταστροφών, οι μαθητές του τμήματος Fast Track 1 συζήτησαν για τους σεισμούς και τις πλημμύρες και έγραψαν μια μικρή έκθεση στα αγγλικά με θέμα: “Write an email to your friend explaining what you should do during an earthquake or flood. Give at least 3 safety tips.”
Μέσα από τη συζήτηση και τις εργασίες τους, τα παιδιά συγκέντρωσαν μερικές πολύ χρήσιμες συμβουλές για το τι πρέπει να κάνουμε σε περίπτωση σεισμού. Δείτε παρακάτω τα tips που μας πρότειναν οι Sofia K. , Mary Dimitra G. , Nick T. , Efi S.
Earthquake Safety Tips
- Try to be calm. Don’t be nervous or scared.
- If you are in a house, you shouldn’t run outside or go to the balcony.
- You must cover your head and go under a strong table or desk.
- Stay away from the windows.
- When you go outside, you shouldn’t stay near buildings or trees. You had better stay in an open area.
- When the shaking stops, go outside carefully to a safe place. Don’t use the elevator.
- Follow the news on the radio for information.
